Can a bank delete your transaction history?

The short answer is no. For regulatory and compliance reasons, bank statements record all credit card transactions to protect you from fraud. For better or for worse, this means that it’s impossible to hide or delete transactions from your history once they’re processed.

Can bank transfers be taken back?

The banks can’t automatically reverse the transfer because it would allow anyone who had bought something to haul back the payment after receiving their goods. Banks can take anything from a few days to months to sort out problems.

Is it possible to delete a bank transfer?

As long as you haven’t finished the bank reconciliation, remove the reconciled status and then remove the cleared status, before deleting the transaction. As bank transfers affect two bank accounts, a bank transfer can only be deleted if it’s not included on a finished bank reconciliation for both bank accounts.

How do I delete a transaction from my bank account?

From the toolbar, select the Delete button. From Banking, select the relevant bank account. From Activity tab, select the tick box to the left the transactions you want to delete. A toolbar now appears above the list. From the toolbar, select the Delete button.

How to delete bank statement which was wrongly uploaded?

First click on the Deselect All option. Now from sending bank column find and filter you bank. Then check the corresponding statement ID (It should be a combination of Year and statement number). Then select the corresponding check box and press the Delete Statements button.
