Managers and operative employees are idle waiting for delays, taking breaks, socializing at work, and engaging in semi-work activities such as in-plant or out-of-plant travel. Job descriptions should recognize how one’s time is truly spent by indicating time allotment to these non-work and semi-work engagements.

Are there any common concerns in the workplace?

Given the vast amount of time we spend at our jobs, it is not surprising that certain concerns may arise from time to time. Nevertheless, addressing problems quickly and effectively is the best way to get back on track.
