When the W-2 forms will be available?
Your employer is required to provide you with Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement. If your employer does not provide online access to your W-2, they must mail or hand-deliver your W-2 to you no later than January 31st. If you are not sure if you have online access, please check with your company HR or Payroll department.
How long does it take W-2 to come in the mail?
Employers have until Jan. 31, 2019 to send the 2018 Form W-2 earnings statement to their employees. If an employer is mailing Forms W-2 to their employees, they must be postmarked by Jan. 31, so it may take a week or so to arrive.

How to find out if my W-2 forms have been mailed out to me?
Someone at work may be able to print you a new form on the spot or have another one mailed to you. If your current or former employer doesn’t send you a W-2 by the end of February and you have to call the IRS at 800-829-1040 for help be sure to have your contact information and your employer’s ready when you make the call.
Are there any changes to the W-2 form for 2018?
The rules around Form W-2 aren’t changing in 2018, but tax withholding rates are different in 2018 from 2017, so don’t be surprised if the withholding on your W-2 is different in 2018 than in previous years even if your salary is roughly the same.
