Why is having your payroll check direct deposited a good idea?
The information on a check can give someone the means to get into your bank account. Paying employees via direct deposit is safe and secure. Your employees don’t need to worry about losing a paper check or cash. The funds are transferred electronically into their bank accounts once the initial setup is complete.
Why do some employers not use direct deposit?
It may be employee turnover, it may be the size of the company, number of employees and the time it takes to set things up. I am not sure if every bank offers direct deposit.
